What is The Root Chakra and How to Open Root Chakra
A root chakra or a wheel is a point of prana energy in our astral body located in the physical counterparts of our body such as veins, arteries, and nerves. Yoga is a very beneficial way to release when Prana and life force is blocked.
There are seven chakras in our body and each of the 7 chakras has its own consciousness and is related to our emotional well-being. In our body, the Muladhara Chakra is located at the base of the spine. And it is related to basic human growth and survival. The Swadhisthana chakra is located on the sacrum above the root chakra. and are similar to the reproductive cycle. Above this the Manipura Chakra is located in the Udhar Kshetra and is related to self esteem, strength, fear etc. Physically it is related to digestion.
Above this the Anahata Chakra is located in the chest slightly above the heart and is related to love, inner peace and devotion. Next, the Vishuddhi chakra is located in the neck and communication is related to soul expression etc. Above this the Agya chakra which is situated between the two eyebrows finally the Sahasrara chakra which is at the top of the head and is associated with inner and outer aesthetic spirituality.
When we practice yoga and mudra the chakras become balanced and the life system that we have is enhanced both physically and emotionally. Enables our chakras to function in a balanced manner These include some chakras and asanas
Mountain Posture
Parvat asana connects us to the earth. The mountain asana ends your connection to the earth, connects you to your body and establishes you in the present moment.
Virabhadrasana
It is a powerful asana that creates a firm connection between the earth and your body. This yoga pose gives your prana movement throughout your body, strengthens the first chakra, it physically strengthens your legs, opens your hips and helps provide strength to the knees and lower back. It makes your whole body fit. Makes you stronger in doing any asana.
Setubandha Asana
This asana is an energetic root chakra yoga pose that places your feet firmly in the ground and stimulates your spine to release excessive amounts of muladhara chakra energy. Setu Mudra also stimulates the Throat Chakra, opens the Heart and Solar Plexus Chakras and balances the Trick Chakra. At the same time, this asana makes your waist flexible.
Tadasana
This asana strengthens your whole body, reduces the pain of your knees, makes your muscles flexible. As well as increases your height. By doing this asana, your whole body will be active throughout the day.
Along with these asanas, there are also some mudras which help in releasing the prana and opening the chakras.

Root Chakra Muladhar Chakra
First of all, sit comfortably in any place, keep your spine absolutely straight and focus your attention on the space between your perineum, anus and genitals.
Make a circle with your index finger with your thumb. Rest the hands by keeping the palms on your knees looking towards the sky.
Take a deep breath in and let out a deep breath
Repeat taking 8 to 10 years.
Swadhisthana Chakra
Now rest comfortably by placing your right hand on the left hand in your lap. Palms facing the sky and keeping your spine straight and focus your attention from the area 1 inch below your navel to the first lumbar.
Make the rings touch each other lightly.
Take a deep breath and keep taking a deep breath
Repeat taking 8 to 10 breaths
Manipur Chakra
Sit comfortably in a pure environment, keep your spine straight and focus your attention from your navel to the solar flexus and the eighth thoracic vertebra.
Keep your fingers straight and facing each other and touching each other at the top. Make a V shape with your thumb. Keep the right thumb crossing the left thumb.
take deep breaths and keep exhaling
Repeat taking 7 to 10 years
Anahata Chakra
Sit comfortably in a pure environment, keep your spine straight and focus your attention from your heart region to the first thoracic vertebra.
Make a vow with your index finger and thumb. Rest the palm of your left hand on your left knee. Raise your right hand between your breasts, palms slightly bent towards your heart.
Take a deep and long breath in and out.
Repeat taking 8 to 10 breaths.
Vishuddhi Chakra
Sit comfortably, keep your spine straight and focus your attention on the base of the neck to the third cervical vertebra.
Make a circle with both your thumbs touching and cross your fingers together and form a loose cup shape. put your hands on your throat, solar, plRaise up to the front of the Nexus, or let it rest on your lap.
Keep breathing deeply and exhaling.
Repeat taking 8 to 10 breaths.
Ajna Chakra
Sit comfortably, keep your spine straight and focus your entire attention on the area of your third eye, starting just above the point between the eyebrows to the first cervical vertebra, encompassing the interior of the skull.
Now make the shape of a heart by touching the ends of both your thumbs and both the index fingers, the ring finger is the little finger, touch each other on the other feet of the fingers. Make a crown with your middle fingers. Raise your hands up in front of the third eye, solar plexus, or allow it to rest on your lap.
Take a long deep breath and release it.
Repeat taking 8 to 10 breaths.
Sahasrara Chakra
Sit comfortably in the open air Keep your spine straight and focus your attention on the area of the crown at the top of your head about 3 inches above your skull.
Now cross the fingers inward and place the left thumb under the ankle, in this way clasp the hands. Raise both the ring fingers and make a crown. Raise both hands above your head in front of the solar plexus, or rest on your lap.
Take a deep breath and let it out.
Repeat taking 8 to 10 breaths.
You should practice all these everyday. Mudra meditation and breathing exercises, along with daily yoga practice, help you open these chakras which can have a positive and negative impact on our body, mind, and spirit.
