What’s the difference in using a sleep story as opposed to guided meditation to fall asleep
Often in early meditation, we feel that we fall asleep during our meditation. We are also asleep when we have entered the state of meditation. This is quite natural because until we become familiar with meditation, we associate deep relaxation primarily with sleep.
If you feel sleepy while meditating, do not try to stop it by letting it come. When you do meditation in the beginning, you will get sleep but gradually when you do meditation daily, this habit will change. When your mind is not relaxed then you need more meditation.
After meditation, when you fall asleep, your whole mind relaxes. You feel lighter. It is natural to fall asleep during meditation. In the initial days, everyone gets sleepy while meditating. Gradually, when you use meditation every day, sleep will stop naturally.
Clearing the system: release of stress and fatigue
We sometimes fall asleep while meditating but that’s okay. Whenever you feel sleepy while meditating, do not try to stop it. If you wake up in between and avoid sleep, then you may also have a headache. That is why it is better to think of sleep and lethargy as freedom from fatigue and stress. And sometimes even after meditation, we feel too much sleep and tiredness.
If you are feeling tired then don’t take it wrong. You can sleep soundly after meditation. If you have a strong urge to lie down and sleep during meditation, then go to sleep. But do not lie down until your meditation is complete. Even after completion, try to remain in the same posture for two-three minutes.

Progressive relaxation is sometimes called body scan meditation. Which encourages people to scan their bodies for areas of tension. The goal is to notice the tension and let it go.
Mindfulness meditation is used a lot these days. Mindfulness is a form of meditation. By doing meditation, we are fit from inside and out. Our mind remains more active. That is why it is necessary to do meditation every morning.
